Dear Fellow Rotarians,
Greetings!
Our vision extended far beyond publishing a monthly newsletter. We endeavored to create a meaningful platform that informed, inspired, and connected every member of the Rotary family. Each edition is thoughtfully designed to capture the essence of Rotary—sharing stories of compassion, innovation, and service that celebrate the collective strength and spirit of our community.
More than a record of achievements, GML stands as a reflection of Rotary’s creativity, commitment, and values. Through its pages, we have given connections, strengthened fellowship, and reminded readers of our shared purpose—to serve, to lead, and to make a lasting impact. Every word embodies our resolve to “make a difference,” highlighting the essence of Rotary: fellowship in action, purposeful service, and the power of humanity united for good.
October, observed as Community Economic Development Month, showcases how Rotarians’ dedication continued to transform lives and inspire others to join our movement. The efforts of members across District 3292 strengthened communities and expanded Rotary’s positive influence.
This issue of GML features significant district events, including the Global Ethics Day program, the Intercity Meeting on “End Polio Now,” the District Governor’s Official Club Visits, and various health camps and service initiatives led by clubs. The World Polio Day celebration in Nepal and the Interact District Sports Meet in Pokhara reflected the unity and enthusiasm of our Rotary family. The cover photo, shared by the Rotary Club of Hetauda, was added to this edition, following the previous feature from the Rotary Club of Birtamode.
We were deeply encouraged by the positive response to the earlier edition published on the District 3292 website, reaffirming our shared commitment to communication and service. As we celebrated the festivals, it brought renewed joy, harmony, and purpose. May this spirit continue to inspire hope, strengthen communities, and guide us toward building a brighter, better future—together in unity and service.
Yours in Rotary,
Rtn. Er. Bidur Timalsina
